Hi #Urgent
Got the Offer Letter from Citi upon accepting I also received the Background Verification (BGV) mail.
which says I need to provide the relieving letter/experience letter. But the thing is I have not received it (it will take some time). I only have resignation acceptance letter.
Can we still proceed for bgv process and tell Citi that I will provide the relieving letter later on when i get it.
(already passed my LWD: 2nd nov)

2. Transport allowance: 900 one way, 1800 two ways p.m./ 21,600 p.a.
3. Internet: 1500 max p.m. (other than that, one time installation charges)
4. Tuition fee: Any certification related to your field. Like CFA, FRM etc. 3,00,000 p.a.

Agree on weighing risk - our clients do this occasionally. This is not a secondary jurisdiction and could have led to the transaction being delayed and contracts having to be amended.

So your remedy is what? Sue to unwind? The co believes you won't.

Had that concern turned out to be true, my remedy would have been to not give the closing opinion before the other material contract was amended because we would not have been able to opine on enforceability of the side letter provision.
