You can make way more than that part time. Shouldn’t take a contract for less than 100/hr

Assuming you have a few years of experience at least
I haven't branched out on my own just yet. I'm currently in a consultancy but want to transition to part time but still have fun money. Will get some certs this year. But any recommendations on how to go about getting contracts? I'm looking for the best bang for my buck with wlb.

Set up an LLC and then network with recruiters that handle contracts until you get your own network to contract directly.
Your network is going to be the most important thing. We just did a session with a Senior Salesforce Contractor who talks about how he started out, and things he wished he considered here on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:6919754052658446336/
