Does anyone have experience interviewing with Deloitte Internal Services? I had my final interview a week and a half ago, and received positive feedback throughout. The hiring manager had positive things to say and mentioned they hoped to make a decision by the end of last week. It’s now Friday the week after. The role still shows as “Interviews in Process.” We did discuss potential start dates, but no salary. Any experience with receiving offers for an internal services role? Is this common?

If you agreed to that salary range in the initial interview, I take it as your desired salary is within that range.
Nothing I hate more than when I confirm the range with a candidate in the initial interview, then we get to the offer stage and they want to go outside that range. I already got approval and confirmed with leadership that you're in the range provided then I have to go back to them and say you ended up wanting more..
It's wishy-washy and puts a bad taste in everyone's mouth.
Just be upfront in initial interview. If you want more than that range provided, ask if there's flexibility.
Gotcha this is really helpful! Thank you and hope you have a great week ahead 😊

If they say, "this job pays between $X and $Y" that is generally pretty firm. That said, I've twice had companies bump me to a higher job title so they could offer me a higher salary. And, once I turned down an offer (the salary was laughably bad) and they came back with something in my range.
I just negotiated above the number they provided but I never agreed to the number she intially gave me in the first round. I simply told them I would need to learn more about the scope of the role, how many accounts I'd be supporting & what the day to day looks like. I connected with them after all my interviews & they asked what my salary expectations were & I said now after learning more about the role & based on my experience I was looking more towards xx. And they gave it to me. So try not to lock yourself in but if you do make sure it's a salary you're comfortable with.
I’ve noticed that external recruiters do not like it when you get the offer stage and ask for more than a range that was previously discussed. This is the downfall of working with an external recruiter because they are getting a commission for placing you in the role and when you go back to ask for more $$ they had not previously budgeted that with the client and your ask is even more with their commission rate. Not saying this always happens with recruiters but that’s my experience with utilizing external recruiters for job searches and also has been an issue when using recruiters for hiring purposes.
If you are working with an internal recruiter, I believe there is often more leeway with the salary range that was previous discussed because they are a salaried employee with the company and likely do not make commission off the placement. That said, I think coming back in the offer stages with a wildly different salary ($10-$20k seems ok for negotiating, at least to me) doesn’t make sense unless the role is very different from what was originally presented to you.
Try to get other perks.
You have to also think about internal equity when it comes to job bands
I’ve always told recruiters that I’m within the range of what they quoted me if I like the role enough to proceed. Then I use a competing offer to negotiate TC.
