Relocating to work in NYC, and looking for a place to live with an excellent school system. Willing to commute up to 2hrs. Any recommendations (cities, counties, zip codes, etc.) will be much appreciated.

2 hour commute sounds rough but if you're up for it then PA in the Philly burbs has some of the best public school districts in the country: Tredyffrin Easttown, Lower Merion, Great Valley etc

Also much lower taxes than NJ/CT would be

Fairfield County has some of the best public schools in the country. New Canaan/Darien being the best schools with Greenwich/Ridgefield/Wilton all being very good too.

Train to grand central is about an hourish depending on which town your starting at. Then subway to your office - should still be within 2 hrs door to door.

Great neck, Locust Valley, Roslyn

After 4 years I want to leave law because of my adhd! I have been to 4 different firms and at each place I feel like I have been “found out”. Sitting at a desk all day in word documents is the ultimate form of torture to me. My strengths are talking to people. I am super outgoing. Looking for a new career

What does it mean if there’s a NEP at the firm who’s been there for a long time (20+ years), but never got promoted to EP? Never held leadership roles too. Does it usually mean EPs does not like the NEP enough to get promoted?

The NEP has a book of business, though no idea how much it brings in.
