Hi All. What is the best way to allocate 25 Lakh INR in savings into different investments to maximize returns. I recently moved out of India so Tax rebate is not a consideration for me. I already have 6 lakh plus invested in PF and MFs but I want to invest more as my money is getting depreciated in the savings bank account.

I regret not applying to Harvard. I never thought I’d get into a top school and then got into wharton with a 100k fellowship - which changed my entire perspective. It sucks thinking “what if…”. Anyone done DIY attic insulation?

We had a home energy audit done yesterday and the guy said the attic insulation has a whopping R-value of 7 due to age and compression.

Getting a quote for them to do a loose fill to bring it up to 39, but also thinking about DIY loose fill depending on how $$$ the quote is. It's a ~700 sqft attic.

Anyone have generator recommendations? Are there any that aren’t obscenely loud? Moved to a northern state with lots of snow and have a baby arriving during winter. Thinking I’d like to get a backup generator to give me peace of mind.
