I’ve been at my company for three years now and I haven’t had a single promotion. While others who have been hired after me have been promoted before me. I make $55k/yr but in these times I need to make around at least $80k. What are some things I can do to be recognized or should I start looking for another job?

I have reg and bec passed. They expire in 2021 June. I failed audit with 73, then 66. I am studying for far now. I am about half way thru the material. I have some time off of work and was considering completing the material by end of next week. Then revising for 2 weeks and taking exam in nov. for audit I will start studying for it right after far exam and try to take it end of November. My goal is to get these done before tax season starts in february.

I have a desk job where I’ll legit sit for 9hrs each day. I used to have hobbies on the computer, like video editing, writing code for side projects, sketching out app ideas. Lately I can’t stand to be at my desk anymore after work. Been watching too much tv instead. More so seems like it’s due to being in the same location for so many hrs each day. Interested in hearing thoughts about separating work desk from personal desk, and other hobbies you picked up to get away from the screen

At what age were you promoted to the Associate Director/Director-level? I’m feeling a bit stuck in my early-30s and know it’s completely irrational to assign an age to a promotion/title, but I can’t help wallow right now.

How are you all using calculators with class? What grade level do they become standard use? What are model/brand you using? Do you teach to do by hand first or the calculator first?

I will answer... standard starts at 8th grade pre algebra, we use TI 84s and I try to teach by hand first but then quick move to the calculators to help back up their answer.

Does anyone have some innovative ways they’ve gone about story flow testing? I.e. ensuring the order of messages is optimal? I’ve done this as part of message testing and as part of white paper testing but nothing truly innovative/ out of the box that would apply to this category.

Is there any way I could find better listings around my area? I've been checking out the competition and their properties seem to be better overall, more modern and more appropriate to what people are looking for nowadays. Any clue as to how they get these listings?

What other companies are paying 18 dollars and hour as a production artist? My job is to design pins, coins, lanyards, and all other sorts of products to then be prodded out to show a customer. They get free revisions and I am supposed to prof out them as fast as possible.
