What really gets me is that they both knew about the gravity of Covid and benefitted financially from that knowledge. In my mind, I entrust my vote to someone who will make choices that benefit my family. It’s hard to see how Loeffler did that in earnest.
Voted Trump and will vote Perdue and Loeffler. I did not vote Trump in 2016 and I used to be a Democrat, but I am convinced Republican policies have a more positive impact on the well being of our country and people.
$32M is not even .01% of DOJ budget. That is a nothing burger of the highest degree.
No one said the election was illegitimate in 2016. He was elected. There was a transition of power.
Donald Trump is enough of a moron to celebrate the Dow at 25K >3xs. Trump’s policies have created exponential increase in national debt and the unemployment rate is the worst it has ever been. South Korea had their first case the same day, and less than 1,000 people have died. The trump ‘administration’ is full of loons and bafoons who have no policy concepts after the adults in the room left 18 months in. I am not brainwashed. I am a lifelong Republican and child of a GOP elected official. If you think the Trump admin has any kind of conservative values you need to rethink what that means.
To what end? GOP has forfeited nearly all their convictions to support Trump.
What has Trump done, other than set records unemployment, wage growth, household income, GDP, stock market, number of women in government, and the list goes on. You’re against that?
I see the point of having R control in the Senate but Purdue and Loeffler are out of control pushing the R Sec of State to order a hand recount - how many of my tax dollars are paying for this, without any evidence? And then there’s the insider training allegations, the private jet drama and Loeffler going all qanon.
I’d rather go republican for Senate. I went Biden because I’d finally had enough of Trumps leadership or lack thereof. However, I do not want to provide the full go and would prefer there to be a republican slant to check
This is how I feel
Blue. I want the government to be effective after the disaster of the past four years, and having a Senate aligned with the executive office feels necessary.
I don’t really mind that. I think both parties will try to avoid putting VP in that position as much as possible. I just don’t want four years of no cabinet members or presidential appointments because we’ve got a petty contemptuous senate
I find it interesting that considerations about the individuals play such a big role for this group - especially when virtually all senators vote along party lines in our divided era. Seems more reasonable to vote based on what you want to see happen or not happen over next 4 years.
To me what’s on the ballot is the legislative agenda of the next 4 years - not whether I like Warnock more than Loeffler.
I want senators like McCain, Romney, Collins or kasich - people who have a backbone and a conscience. I can’t reward trump enabling crooks with re-election. I personally also quite like ossoff.
Two baseline points: 1 I vote for individuals, not parties. 2 I'm a conservative, not a Republican.
In the Ossoff Perdue race, there is no doubt I will vote for David Perdue. If you put their personal accomplishments next to each other and compared them there is little you would hire John Ossoff for over David Perdue. I want Senators that don't "need" the job. Ossoff is a democratic version of Karen Handel. Perdue has great business accomplishments already. I value the ability to draw on this in the Senate.
In Loeffler v Warnock, both have prior life accomplishments and meaningful achievements. I am gonna spend some time investigating them over the Thanksgiving break with an open mind. This will be an interesting race.

My father-in-law died but yes did really really well! Keep it up! Me and the 250K families and people who have experienced loss have nothing to worry about! The Dow! Dividends!
South Korea is a democracy. They have testing. They have not politicized the virus. I do not live in an alternate reality. I live in a very real reality where I am a lifelong Republican, and have clear eyes enough to see when something isn’t conservative values. The trump tax cuts created exponential debt.
