Do people proactively begin finding work when they know they may be low on work soon? Or do they just wait until they actually don’t have enough work to fill their days? Networking question here. A retired partner at the firm I used to work out reached out to me recently about attending an afternoon during the week (b4 4/30) with one of his long time clients. My client wants both parties to list assets & liabilities as an exhibit to their prenup without values, but waive the right to know the actual valuation of those in the prenup itself. My initial thought is this is a terrible idea & would probably make the prenup easily voidable since a main requirement for a prenup is for both to understand the nature and value of the other’s assets. I will research in my jurisdiction to confirm, but has anyone ever heard of/done this? Thoughts?

When you get stuck on a design or when you are starting a big project, what are your creative processes? Do you look at colors? inspiration? Pen and paper? Illustrate something? Want to work with my designer on a toolbox of steps to pick from to find what works best for their individual creative process? I know my creative process is look at inspiration, pen and paper, then start designing, but I don’t want to assume that’s theirs too.

What book have you read that was helpful for your career and/or that you would recommend? Could be a technical book, management, etc. For me, it’s a book I read a few years ago: The Phoenix Project. I never thought I would read and like a novel about DevOps but I recommend it to all my managers.

But my current company held my offer of 13L and salary/payslip is with old offer and i have submitted documents with new offer letter which is 13L.
I am little concerned it might impact negative on my BGC..
