He has taken our condemnation already. While we deserved condemnation for our sinfulness & rebelliousness, our loving God made a way through his son to redeem us from wrath & forgive us. Does anyone have tips regarding attending social events, such as happy hours with coworkers and express that drinking isn’t my preference?
With me being the only one on my team who doesn’t drink, it causes me to stick out, and others constantly question why I’m not drinking.
It kind of deters me from attending work events, but I know there’s a lot of benefitting in being around.
