I am very interested in teaching from home, but most virtual jobs I have reviewed still require you to come to an office/ school building. I want to know what it is like, specifically the work load. Our nurse has an email group of our states school nurses that she can bounce ideas off, or ask questions etc. Is there anything like that for secretaries? Teachers are keen to share how they handle things in their classrooms, but every school does attendance, has messages that need to be relayed thru the day, all these things going on, I just always wonder how it's handled elsewhere. I took this position two years ago and I don't like "This is just how it's always been done".

Does anyone know of a program like go guardian that works for macs?

We use Schoology as our district’s LMS. PowerSchool just bought Schoology. Hoping I will BA able to use more Schoology tools that the district currently does not allow.

Who uses Plickers? Thoughts? Are the kids required to have a computer? What alternatives have you used that don’t use a computer?
