Serious question. Why is it so hard to find a job in Miami dade county? Why are 50 to 75% of jobs in Miami dade county prefer or require Spanish how is this even fair to people that are born here that aren’t Hispanic or speak Spanish? I truly dont understand my 22 year old daughter has been unemployed for almost 2 years and she’s telling me that these people that’s in charge of hiring don’t care about diplomas or experience once they ask you “can you speak Spanish” you won’t get the job it’s sad

I have given 3 rounds of interview for the position of SE- B8 , i.e. Lead SE. Now in salary discussion round i asked HR for a CTC between a range of 31-34L. But they told me max they can give is 29.5L. I still did not accepted the initial offer from HR, it is going again one more round for salary negotiation after HR confirms the bracket from Business. I know Natwest dont negotiate once you accepted the offer. What CTC can i expect from Natwest for Lead SE.

Best place to research salaries? I’m getting a wide range. Glassdoor is “highly confident.” Should I be highly confident in their range? I’m researching a Sr. Director Corporate Communications role in a major health care org. HELP!

How is Flipkart for Work life balance? I have ~5 years of exp and hold an offer of 32 + Stocks. Also the expectation is to know Java but during the interview process , there was no discussion of Java or any questions asked. Although the team has asked me to invest some time in learning Java but I’m skeptical about all of this as the position is Data Engineer II so not sure how the expectations will change. Even if I invest time in learning Java I can be at a beginner level.

I joined 6 months ago as a L5 manager. I like my team but don't enjoy the work. I also feel I was down levelled at the time of joining. Should I wait 6 months and move internally? How easy is internal mobility especially if I were to target a L6 role? Would applying outside be wise ?

During work from office days, a representative from third party vendor organization used to visit the Gurgaon office during the Investment Proof Declaration days to help folks with "rent agreements, PAN number and rent slips" (ahem!! ahem!! IYKYK) and we were able to claim tax deductions.
