I've been in the same spot for the last 2 months and it's rough man. I've been trying to look into larger hospitality groups in my area, and some institutional food services (like hospitals and universities). But so far I still haven't received any offer despite feeling pretty good about my interviews. Gonna try reaching out to more of my connections in the coming week. Maybe that would help you too!

Hey fishes, completed 3 tech rounds at Bosch.
Last tech + managerial round was on 10th Nov. Got HR call on 17th Nov. Told my expected package and she didn't seem to have any issue. On 22nd Nov, got a call from the consultant at taggd who has been arranging all my interviews. Told my expected CTC and she seemed a bit surprised but didn't negotiate and asked if I have any other offers? I asked when can I expected the OL, she said within a week but didn't take any documents. Can I expect the OL?

Check the overtime laws for your state!!

I just recently worked 58.6 hours in a week, weekly pay, nice OT profit right? Depends on where you live.

In Iowa, there is no Overtime pay mandate, the overtime pay is at the discretion of the business. I received 58.6 hours of base pay for the week.

If the company makes less than $1 million per year or does not engage in intercontinental sales, the company is not required to pay the overtime rate of time and a half, just your base rate.

I work as an AGM in a busy restaurant. Been working there for just over a year, and haven't had a single raise.
