Yes, all the genetically deformed breeds. Pugs etc. They can't breathe properly and they tend to grow deformed.
Im not sure banning specific breeds is necessary but it comes down to the owners and how to handle, train, and being responsible for their dogs.
Absolutely not. The owners are the problems. An owner that doesn't take the time and energy to properly care for their pet can turn any dog breed into a nightmare. It's tragic, but the rescues do a great job helping people find the right match and get prepared for the challenges that come with it.
TEMPERAMENT IS INHERITED!!!! It’s not how you raise them BS. A dog breed to herd is going to have herding tendencies, a pointer is going to point. A dog that was bred to pit fight are going to be more dog aggressive. NOW there are dogs that don’t conform to what they are bred for but it’s there.
I feel bad for Pugs. They have a harder time breathing and they are not that pretty. They should not be banned but they can go extinct.
Banned breeds? None. Ban the idiot owners and trainers. Yes definitely people need to be vetted before owning certain breeds because there are obv red flags.
Nope. But you and your dog should have to pass a test and get a license before being allowed out in public, paid for by you. Leash laws need better enforcement and higher penalties. There are way too many dogs out in public with no meaningful training whatsoever. There are also many people out in public with dogs much larger than they can actually handle safely.
