Have my review coming up and plan to ask for a sizable raise. I don’t have competing offers because I don’t want to start on that foot and because I really feel my company values me very much. Advice?
Anyone know how friendly Whartonis to reapplicants? I'm simply having a promotion and more experience enough to get in a second time if you were waitlisted the first time?
WPP friends, how far ahead of time does your agency typically let you know you’re getting a promotion?
Did we ever get Marriott points from the promotion last year? 3rd night onwards we get 1000 points
Can I ask for a raise for this recognition? 🤔
Feeling at a stand still. I was doing assistant work before my recruiting coordinator gig but now feel stagnant. Work for a start up, and although i'm expected to always go outside of my role, it's coming up on a year and there's no promotion in sight. Was told it takes 1.5-2 years to grow out of the recruiting coordinator function. I don't know how much more scheduling I can handle, it's like a soul sucking responsibility after a while. Any advice on how to move out of the RC role?
Stay on my current project through July 31st for the best chance at my consultant promotion, or take my April roll off date for an LLP project out of AFS, and risk delaying the promo...
With two days to go in the promotion, is there anyone on here who hasn't signed up for the Chase Sapphire Reserve 💳?For better or worse, I think we all feed off of each other...lol
Raise your hand if you cannot forget the embarrassing mistake you committed in the past. 🖐️
Does anyone know if Alexa’s voice is available to use in promotion of an Amazon skill? Or is it a no no ?
Remember the thread on songs that raise your energy levels? I was bored and made a Spotify playlist. You're welcome :)
Has an offer to join a smaller but growing firm. Will get a decent raise, but I'm concerned about the lack of delivery capability. Seems like the expectation is they want you to be able to do it all, and they brand and technical breadth is not as established. Looks to me its high risk and the reward is just the raise they offer. Anyone has similar experience can share their experience?
Got a promotion about a year ago, but due to covid they couldn’t give me the momey to go with it. Due to everyone quitting, my workload has just been non stop, nights, weekends, holidays, etc. so I’m asking for another title change, but is it too much to ask for another raise to go with it?
How often do MBB firms raise pay, specifically for the undergrad and post-MBA levels? I know that they all raised bases about 10k fairly recently, and with investment banks raising pay yet again, will we see a pay increase sooner rather than later?
I guess I don’t know anything about the history of MBB pay increases and what factors go into an increase. Would love some insight on this topic if anyone has some, as I’m incoming at one of the firms next year.
I joined industry role in Q4 of last year. It has been great I am doing very well, with solid impact etc. however, I am realizing the culture is intense, lot of work, some travel and need to go onsite. I think I asked for less money. Since when I joined market has adjusted, inflation has gone up. Given these scenarios how do I ask for pay raise? Not necessarily need higher responsibility. This company is based in CA but I joined remote. Would CA law to disclose salary apply here? I like job pple
What is the largest % raise anyone has ever received in your career? Was it a promotion year or going to an external company?
I am a campus recruit. I have done graduation. Suppose I complete post graduation and upload my certificates. Then what? Will I get promotion? How would things be? Please don't laugh 😅
Been with my CU for 7 years worked as a teller and built my self up to processing specialist. Wanting to know from others what they make as a processing specialist. Just heard my promotion news to mgr in Big4. At the same time, I have an offer from OW (SC level). My goal is to transfer to MBB or 2nd tier this year. I can reapply MBB this September (one year period). Should I take the down-level offer from OW > gain experience > lateral / or should I just wait till September for my next shots? Has anyone had a similar experience? The salary cut will be huge ~ 40%. Is it make sense tell HR that let's regroup later this year to be considered as associate
Anyone who went from middle market to big 4 regret it? I'm tempted but the grass isn't always greener on the other side...
Does anyone what a associate salary would be at a top 10 accounting firm in risk advisory coming from big four audit 2 years ?

What is your definition of critical race theory? I’m not looking for opinions. This is straight up KWL and we are starting with K. So what do you know, like for sure, like what can you explain to someone else confidently and accurately about CRT?
I'm stuck standing still in front of bathroom mirror solely because I lost all feelings in my legs from sitting too damn long on the toilet seat. Smh.
Campus recruiters at professional service firms — has scheduling final rounds changed in a virtual world for your firm or do you still try to schedule your candidates on Fridays with a full day of back to back interviews? Is it easier or now preferred to schedule ad hoc through the week? I was on maternity leave last year during COVID and I’m curious if preferences for students (or interview teams) have changed? I would still think the former/old way is better from work planning perspective.
When is United going to get rid of Directv on their planes? I just had 3 flights all with that junk. It even takes out space from underneath the seats.
How long should the employment and education components of a background check take? I expected these would go by fast, but they’re lingering.
Dumb question, but how do people acquire so many points for their CSR when we have to book flights through the company?
Thoughts on Quantic? Does anyone have experience with it as a student and also what it’s done for your career? (Wondering if it fulfills some job prerequisites of needing an MBA by the large firm for example)
Received an offer with 27% increase on current salary. Anyone know of Accenture would entertain matching that?
