Not a waste of time, learn what you can about them in the meantime and if they ask about proficiencies speak to your strengths in the other program’s first and then say are focusing on the weaker ones. +4 for LinkedIn learning mention! LinkedIn learning has so many accredited adobe creative suite courses that aren’t terribly long. Make sure to at least watch some of the foundations courses before your interview so you can familiarize yourself with basic terms and functions.
Apply and in the interview just let them know the ones you are the strongest at and the ones that need a little more training. That’s a LOT of programs to be an “expert at”.

After effects is a tough one to fake but you can get a better grasp of it with all your previous knowledge of the adobe suite. It is worth investing doing some online tutorials of the foundations of the latest AE and Pr updates for future purposes. Good luck!
