Last night, I got a nastygram from a client who basically wanted to forego due diligence in a major buyout we’re helping him with. “Stop requesting documents and just draft me my docs.” But we literally don’t know who owns what right now, terrible corporate records. This morning, the partner told me he’ll probably fire this client, big pat on the back.

Hoping to get my PHR in the next year or so. Outside of employer reimbursement, are there other opportunities for this to get funded? I know SHRM Foundation offers scholarships for the CP, but I am looking for PHR specific help. Thank you! :)

Starting the interview process at a competitor and the people I will be interviewing with know my current team members just from being in the industry and I think some even used to work together. I had an interview for an senior mgmt role at a bank and the interview was going very well. Beginning of the interview, she mentioned my resume was very impressive. She also said I was extremely intelligent and that I had a bright future; however they’re interviewing people with over 26 years of experience and would want someone more seasoned. I’m feeling super discouraged. Why bother with my resume at all?
