Should promotions come with a raise? How much more should it be? I make $79k. They want to promote me one level higher as a Senior BA. This means expanding my role to support two groups instead of one for projects, etc. What pay increase “should” I expect? Or what should I ask for?

Considering that the end of this year will probably signal the start of a recession, is this a bad time to jump into a new role in Pharma?

Had a first round interview scheduled for a large CPG brand. My interviewer never called me, and I emailed following up to confirm the call. It’s been over a day and no response. A relative is raising a teenage son with her ex-husband. They have joint physical custody. The ex-husband has re-married. When the son is in his care, he often leaves the son at home in California with his (new) wife when he travels for work (which is often). The relative wants her ex-husband to leave their son in her care when he travels out of town but the ex-husband disagrees. currently tossing up between staying at a global company (who is in the process of some positive changes) with an amazing manager who supports my career and flexible working … however comes with the inherit issues that come with a long standing global company

compared with a role at a smaller mga, higher salary (around 30%) more , more visibility career wise and some great employee benefits , management seem to be supportive and low staff turnover
