It is a rather strange situation, it may be that they stopped the interviews or that they made a mistake choosing your profile, that is, you are not compatible with the position, but in any case, they should send you an email or let you know what is happening.
Indeed they are in the process of scheduling appointments, sometimes the functions are not carried out by a single person and the schedules do not coincide, that is, there were other people before you.
It's definitely frustrating when you go through the interview process and get ghosted by the recruiter. Unfortunately, it does seem like this is becoming more common lately.
There could be a few reasons why this happened. Maybe the interviewer had a last minute emergency and couldn't make the call. Or maybe the company has decided to move on to other candidates. The best thing you can do is reach out to the recruiter again and express your disappointment. Let them know that you would appreciate a response, even if it's just to say that they're no longer considering you for the position.
It's possible that the recruiter simply forgot to call you, or maybe there was a scheduling conflict and they'll reach out to reschedule. If you don't hear back after a few days, it's best to reach out to the recruiter and ask what happened. Be polite and professional, and thank them for their time.
What is going on with recruiters? This seems to be a common problem, with candidates being ghosted after every final interview. I'm not sure what the reason for this could be, but it's definitely frustrating for both candidates and recruiters. In your situation, it might be a good idea to reach out to the recruiter's supervisor or someone else in HR and ask what happened.
It's really frustrating when you go through the effort of scheduling a first round interview and then the recruiter never even has the decency to call you to cancel. It's even worse when they don't even bother to send an email saying that they've moved on. Unfortunately, it seems like recruiters are getting worse and worse about communicating with candidates. I would try emailing them again and asking what happened, but if you don't receive a response then I would assume that they've decided to move on.
I had a call scheduled for an interview and didn’t firmed it. HR person never called me. I emailed them after 15min asking if we should reschedule. Never heard from them. A month later I get an email from another HR person asking if I would like to interview for the role (not knowing I already had an interview scheduled a month prior). I told them the situation and they apologized and I said thank you but no thank you.
