Theory. They have a sale right now too! Runs small. Nordstrom carries a bunch of their stuff and will price-match to sale prices on the Theory website.

Suistudio. They’re online only unless you’re in NYC area. Not cheap, but worth it and have a great fit (also styles for petites and tall women). Also like Calvin Klein

I also love Ann Taylor and Calvin Klein. Nordstrom Rack is good place to look if you want to save on Calvin Klein.

I went on a date last week and it went really well. We basically set up 2nd & 3rd dates that night. 2nd date's Friday for drinks and 3rd date is drag brunch. Date had to end pretty early bc she's in the med field and needs to wake up around 5am. I'm new to dating people my own gender and I want to make moves but I'm nervous/hesitant since I'm new to this. There was light touching, leaning in, eye contact, but I want to do more. Anything I should do on the 2nd date? How to initiate?

Hi! I am super new to this app and I see a consistent ask about latina(x) mentors. Has anyone been able to find one and how? I am still looking and frankly could you use all the support. I am the only latina in my office and culturally sometimes I hit these invisible walls that make me feel so incredibly self conscious. I am the first to have a degree in my family so they do support me but there’s a huge gap. I want to know how to navigate big law/private practice without losing myself & culture

So I had an interview in early September and a second interview almost 2 weeks ago. I’m a third year associate wanting to leave my second law firm. My first two years of practice I was at a small firm and left to a mid-size firm to practice insurance defense. I have enjoyed the practice but not the firm. The firm’s culture is toxic. The firm has had 7 attorneys leave in the last year. Is it wrong for me to wanting to leave? Will i give the impression of being a job hopper? Does it really matter?

Hi ladies! First gen Latina corporate lawyer here. I’ll be relocating from DC to NYC soon. Recognizing how hard it is to find diversity in the workplace even in the most diverse cities, I’ve joined this bowl in hopes of contributing to building a community among my fellow Latina lawyers. Happy to chat virtually or grab a coffee anytime.

Hello! It seems this bowl is not very active but I'd like it to be. So here's my story: Born & raised in PR, moved to CA for undergrad & have been here since then. I graduated from law school in 2019, followed by a 2 yr bk clerkship. I did the evening program. I really enjoyed law school, in spite of the microaggressions, the late nights, & crazy competition. Love all things diversity in the law. Anyway, currently looking for a position in NYC/DC area. 🤗
