I have been in my current job for 1 year now as a booking coordinator for a logistics company. When I started I had no idea of what my workload would be, now I noticed that my coworkers took the opportunity to pass most of their job to me. Rental Housing/Airbnb viability. I have a small portfolio of rental properties on Long Island (NY). I rent them out to long term tenants but there is very little Airbnb activity in this market. I think the yields will increase significantly with an ABNB approach but then again these aren’t sexy locations (in Nassau County) and there isn’t much in terms of attractions that would drive renters to these areas. Summer time yes, winter time not as much. Anyone have any experience in a similar market?
