So I currently have 5+ years in Customer Service (Office Asst, Admin Asst, Retail, CSR) and also have experience in an Admin Assistant role. I’ve done pretty much all the above for basic office operations and then some, but I’m still struggling to land a role as an Admin Assistant. For fellow Admin Assistants or Office Operation Coordinators how did you land your role?

I think I’m pretty confident when it comes to interviewing. I’ve had over 8 interviews and haven’t landed one job yet.

How much of the buyside recruiting process is dependent on your school? Like if you went to a non targ but were top bucket, will you still lose out on interviews to Ivy League grads?

For those of you who made the switch to in house/corporate law, what was your experience like? Did you have to take a lower position to gain the experience or were you able to argue that your soft skills were transferable to in house? I’ve been in litigation for 15 years and I’m looking to make the switch. Ultimately, I’d like to get into Legal Ops, but feel getting some in house experience first would be beneficial.

Hello, I recently was reached out to by an in-house recruiter at a similar but slightly different company than the one I currently work for. The recruiter provided a base range and an OTE range. The lower end of that range is what I am currently making. The higher end of that range is almost 200k more than my current comp. The role is almost identical. I wasn’t looking to move, but that higher end range would set my family up very nicely for our goals. But I am happy at my current company. Help?

Just completed my last shift in the ICU. I'm glad to be shifting back to the Maternatity ward. It was exhausting, and emotionally draining working with such sick patients. I know the work we did made a big difference, but I'm glad to go back to my favorite role!

Switched to Second company for 9.5LPA .
Switched to a 3rd company (currently working here) which is my dream company for 18.5LPA with a total experience of 5.11 years.
