What are exit opportunities from big 4 ITDD??
hello fishes,
need some advice.
my current ctc is 16 with 5.6 years of experience. I was a contract hire and parent company wants to hire me.
company is service based company.
my current title is senior analyst but they want to make me manager.
they are skipping tech lead and team lead positions.
they are ready to change 5 days working from earlier 6 days working.
they are asking me my expectations.
we are on client location and there is no one above us. Also team is not technically sound.FSS

Take a shot- you can go through the process and decide once you have an offer, not just a message from a recruiter.
As said before, go through the process. Nothing wrong with being rewarded for what you do. Caution though, the grass isn’t always greener on the other side. You’ll interview with the hiring manager for sure but I would ask to talk to PREVIOUS employees of the manager who are will to talk openly about his/her leadership style and why they are not under him/her anymore. I got burned moving to a dream job, but the AVP was a passive/aggressive narcissist who burned through teams because everyone hated him. Lesson learned.
Definitely met with current and ex-employees. All seems to check out.
I have just built a massive sales org at my current company- hired 12 AEs/Sales managers, etc. And literally built the org from ground up, it’s a profit machine now. I have some sentimental ties that’s making it hard to leave. (My human is showing 🙈)
It never hurts to find out more. At the very least, you'll get some more experience interviewing. But man...$200k more than what you're currently making? That's life-changing.
Update: I am on the final meeting. I met with every SVP/ Cxo and the team I’d be managing (11 interviews) and my final meeting is Friday and I have to present my 30/60/90 plan. It’s between me and another candidate.
The comp is base + 100% back end bonus. Plus very large signing bonus and large preferred stock in company.
Keep the mindset that you like where you are at but are open to earning more. Go through the process but be cautiously optimistic. Also, talk to your boss and see if your current company can bump up you pay/incentives based on this new information. Good luck!
Is this a startup? You have to research the company finances. It's a hot market so not surprising. I'd also questions around base range and how the ote is structured

I would also suggest going through with the interview process to determine if the company could be a great fit for you. If you get an offer, you might be able to use it to negotiate for a higher salary at your current company. It most likely wouldn't be a 200k increase if they provide a counter offer, but you could reach a comfortable agreement.
