If it was a recurrent theme of not getting any raises even when I expressed wanting one then I'd probably leave and start to look for work elsewhere. At the end of the day I need to make sure that I'm being paid enough money for everything that I do.

I agree! It's important to know your worth and if you are not recognized for your contributions, why stay?
Lmao this is too true. Love glowing reviews followed by zero increase in compensation. I tend to stay as long as I have to until something better comes along.

Keep your options (and eyes) open because an opportunity may present itself!
Generally just stay and soldier on, but keep actively searching for something better. To the point where even if a raise is offered, it’s so minimal, just doesn’t make sense. Takes time, but can get a much better offer from a different company 80% of the time in my books.

Stay strong and keep your eyes open, but always remember, the grass isn't always greener. Make sure that you are on good terms if you do leave.
