Heyhey.
Looking to hire a product UX/designer to freelance and help design + run ideation workshops for our Fortune 100 client looking to drive innovation and create/incubate b2c apps.
Would be great if you also knew how to set up an intake form to get a specific brief in order to design the workshop.
Bonus if you know how to design and set-up early stage usability experiments via landing pages/figma to validate problems/solutions before developing a MVP.

Yeah, in a way. At least for me, any time a junior on my team presents ideas, designs, etc I often question them, not coming from a place of skepticism, but more of trying to understand their reasoning or trying to understand the true user need for something. I just want to make sure my designers have thought things through.
In my experience - yes. That skepticism can be discouraging. Truth is, they often want to be convinced and are waiting to hear a good explanation or rationale behind your choices. Don’t be afraid to explain more, and show your diligence.
Especially in UX, there’s a pressure to make sure ideas and feedback are validated through research and testing. People further in their career have more of that experience tucked away and tend to be skeptical of new ideas (or ideas from new people). If I know a meeting is coming up and have an idea ahead of time, I come in with research started and examples ready. It’s a starting point for discussion that gives them a chance to critique the execution others tried instead of just picking apart your loose idea.
