Folks have aright to keep safe distance from officers stand around all day.
It’s illegal to concealed carry without permit and id on you in Minnesota. It’s also illegal in my state to carry a pistol to a protest as a participant or observer, I suspect that’s also true in Minnesota.

A councilmember would like to draft an ordinance allowing the general public to attend press conferences.  Currently, our local government does not have a policy regarding press conferences in place. But only members of the press are invited to press conferences. I’ve shared with him my general ideas about why I thought opening up press conferences to the general public would not be a good idea, he still wants to move forward. Anyone have an ordinance in their city that permits the public ⬇
