Recent college grad doing IT audit at a fairly well-established accounting firm (not Big 4, but top 10). College was good but not Ivy League or anything like that. Grades were around 3.4-3.5.

If my goal is to maximize my chances of working for MBB, which of these paths would you personally take?

1.) Stay on current team, try to get promoted as fast as possible

2.) Stay at current firm but try to switch from risk advisory to a management consulting team

3.) Get an MBA

4.) Other?

Can partners comment whether Pwc is having another round of layoffs. This is so scary! Shouldn't they rid of partners who can't sell first?! Or pause hiring? Opp. cost to find and train talent again?

Hired as SA1. if my utilization is low for round table but I’ve gotten good Snapshots will I go up to SA2 or SA1B, which I don’t want of course.

Internship Program Help: Hi Everyone! I’ve never worked for a company with any type of internship program at all, let alone a really successful one. My new company thrives off our internship program, with many of our managers/directors having started as one themselves. I’d like to create more of a structure to this program but not even really sure where to begin. Just graduated with Aerospace Engineering degree. I am interviewing for multiple positions at once with different companies. One gave me an offer and they want me to get back to them within 2 days. I still have other interviews scheduled and some for higher paying jobs (around 90k) What should I do?
I do like the company that gave me an offer but their base pay was 80k and they went up to 85k. Is asking for them to match the 90k too much? The position is associate systems engineer.

Hey everyone! At what stage do you think it would be appropriate to share that I am currently on an H-1B work visa? I got reached out by the CEO regarding an opportunity they are recruiting for. I applied and have made it to the final round of interviews that’s this week. In the application they didn’t ask about sponsorship or anything, and I didn’t want to automatically disqualify myself by telling them before giving my final round presentation. My final interview is Tuesday.
