So I’ve been freelancing at some smaller companies on the side, and each of them has a ‘creative director’ who basically has zero chance of ever getting any sort of creative job at any reputable agency. These mfers don’t even have books or shoot experience! How is it like that? How are all these phonies getting these jobs? Am I missing something? I’m about to double my rate with one due to how unqualified and helpless the ‘creative director’ is…should I try to take his job instead?
