So my kids wrote to Santa for Xmas. I figured they’d received some generic letter back. Instead we received a package from “The North Pole” but addressed from “USPS Operation Santa.” It came with a personalized letter and personalized toys based on the drawings my kids put on their lists. We were all blown away. We didn’t realize it would be a charity response for those in need, so we will officially be signing up to give back and do the same. I was wondering what kind of contractual or other barriers I might face if I apply for one of the big 4 while working on a project with them in my current company.
I am not too involved in the project but I was in a few meetings and went on a field trip with them as well.
The position that I am applying for is in a different team and city.
Will this considered “poaching” if the consulting firm hires me? Would they need to talk to my current employer?
