Hi Fishes, I have an interview with PwC AC in the coming week. My tech stack is Power BI, SQL, SSRS,SSIS and Tableau. YEO -4 Current CTC is 9 LPA. During the initial call with the recruiter he asked for ny expected CTC and I asked for 17 LPA. Can anyone from PwC comment on this? Is this too much to ask or is this what someone at my current level would get paid at PwC. Please let me know!!!! PwC PwC India Pwc AC Deloitte Deloitte USI

Fellow CWs how do you pick up freelance gigs?
I applied to Amazon job in LinkedIn . Got a mail to complete a Hacker Earth test from Amazon . But i felt not prepared and didn't even try it thinking i might fail and they might not shortlist me the next time when i apply again after preparing .
Do they track any data like who didn't attend the test so they can ignore them next time? Or if i prepare good enough and reapply again after 3 to 4 months would this cause any issue?

Also, after each interview or interaction there was literally no follow up, just an invite for another round of interviews or given the assignment- every time coming from a different person! And for the few that I replied or followed up with, not a single response. The exercise was for actual clients with work that could definitely be used, and obviously I was not compensated. It’s one of my dream jobs so this is just really crushing me.
sorry.. You should have been compensated for your time and energy REGARDLESS of what you’re doing for them. Time is money. You shouldn’t even have to fight for it. THEY should offer to pay you for your time.
In all honesty.. I would keep it moving. If THIS is how they treat you from the outside.. imagine how they treat and overwork you from the inside. Learn from it.. never do free work (ever).. and find a team/company that values you.
