Some people say AI screens out CVs instantly if they don’t hit certain keywords. Has anyone actually seen proof of this for retail or hospitality roles? Or is it mainly a myth that scares people?

That is something that does actually happen. When you apply to some jobs it will tell you that AI is going to review your resume. I am not sure how often it does happen in retail though.

I haven’t seen any evidence of this, but how else would it scan resumes? AI has to pinpoint something it’s looking for. I actually created a resume with AI using hospitality key words, it was a stellar resume. I would assume it’s true in today’s age of tech

I’ve heard that too — seems real especially for bigger companies using automated systems. But I also know folks who got hired without perfect keywords, so maybe it’s not that strict everywhere.

When my job is to handle all the corporations issues does it ever get hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel? Like that this business will survive? It will get its next round of funding?
