The chaos is why I stick around, personally. It's not the job security, pay, and respect lol. I just love the excitement and not knowing what my day is going to look like.
That unpredictability really is addictive.
I guess it's better than saying it's not a real job or that it must all be fun
I would rather deal with “it must be fun” than “that’s not a real job.” At least one of those comes with curiosity instead of dismissal.
It’s incredibly fun and glamorous on the outside looking in. Honestly, there are a lot of fun times, but it’s a lot of work too. I’ve probably been guilty of thinking somebody else has a fun job and not realizing all that comes with it.
People see the highlight reel and not the grind. I have caught myself glamorising other jobs too, forgetting they come with their own chaos.
I love the way each day is different, there’s always some excitement to deal with even if it can be exhausting
