My copywriter partner and I started working together again (my first agency partner ever) and we are both Christians. She gave the idea to have a short prayer time before our day starts, and it really makes a difference. I thank God for putting her in my life—having a Christian friend in the workplace is a real blessing! 💕

Today, I was looking through other bowls and see comments like: “Anyone tired of chasing money?” “Is it just me or as I get older do you realize how little awards and accolades mean?” And I’m reminded of how grateful I am to have my hope in something other than my work. I hope my coworkers see that in me, too. That I work hard but advertising is not what fulfills me.

Is there a church that is popular with people in advertising?

Is is advised or discouraged to list volunteer service on a resume?

I feel it helps me stand out but am also worried some may judge me helping others through my church with being anti- this or that.
