Just got an offer for different finance (still industry) role - 50% raise to $165K TC plus two additional direct reports to me. What is a good age to tell children that they are adopted?

Looking at buying a house. Want to have kids in 1-2 years but ofc you never know how easy that is. Can buy a house closer to friends and more lively, but worse school districts (not awful, just worse) -- or can get one a little farther away, more residential, but better schools. What would you choose?

Curious to know what others feel about living with their parents. I’m 25 making over 140k and give about 1k to my moms retirement account a month and help around the house. I come from an eastern culture and we tend not to move out until marriage and are Moreso collective than a typical western family.
