Remember everyone has had a first day. They choose you! Have a wonderful day! You've got this!
Congratulations on the new job! Don't let yourself forget that we have all been where you are. We all recognize that being the new person can be intimidating, and your coworkers are going to be very understanding if it takes you time to get into the swing of things. Don't hesitate to ask her questions, and most importantly, be kind to yourself. You aren't expected to be perfect on day one.
Thank you ☺️
I’ve been a nurse for 13 years now….still feel like an imposter. Just have confidence in yourself and never be afraid to ask questions.
As nurses, we have such a unique profession despite what current nonmedical people think. You were hired for this position for your strength and your heart for the job. You’re not an imposter because you OWN this and you’ll be just fine tomorrow. It will all go as planned so enjoy your new journey and shine like you should! You got this!
I hope you had a terrific first day!
I’m curious as to why you feel so nervous? Is this your first nursing job? If you’re an experienced nurse, I’m sure you’ll be fine.
I’m not new to nursing but it is a new speciality that I am learning. In theory my previous background should suffice but can’t help having a little fear that this isn’t going to work out.
