I have recently joined EY SaT group as senior consultant recently in Netherlands. I’m tripple masters in MS economics, MBA and MS business analytics. Have 4 YOE in different industries but no M&A experience specifically. Any ideas what company should be offering me? I’ll be working as expert on commercial due diligence, FDD and valuation teams and doing automation alongside. is it wise to demand higher salary or promotion soon after I have proven that I can work and do it better than most?EY

I'm the same way which what kept me from taking the exam for the past 3 years. Every time I set a schedule that I didn't keep - I got overwhelmed. So after talking to many many people and reading blogs like this I realized a few things. The CPA test is a beast. 50% of people fail each section, each quarter. Most people fail at least one section before passing. Very stupid people have passed all of them on their first try. It's not a test of intelligence. It's a test of endurance. You just need to take it one day at a time and focus on one section at a time. By the end of it you'll be done. Try not to think beyond a couple of days of studying. Just realign your expectations. You are working. It's time consuming. It's a hard test. You should feel proud that you got to the point that you felt ready to even take it. And remember the great thing about failing is you clearly get to see your weak areas
My pleasure! You got this!
Take an easier one, run through it fast. You will retain most information from the first and be able to switch back and retake ASAP

The elation of passing far outweighs the crush of failure. You can and will pass these exams. You know what to expect and now you have tools to prepare.
Eh think of it as a trial run. Now you know what to expect and have an opportunity to prepare better.
The things have s 50% pass rate.
Get back on the saddle and use the after test report to figure out where to focus your study time until you can retake.
