Switched back to office after 2 years of WFH. First week felt like a social detox—no mute button, no pajamas, and goodbye mid-day naps. But here’s the upside: real conversations, quicker decisions, and a sharper routine. Downsides? Commute eats time, and office noise kills focus. Biggest challenge? Relearning how to people again. But honestly, the structure helps. Still miss grabbing lunch barefoot in my kitchen. Balance is the real game now.

We've had full return to office for over a year and I still haven't relearned how to people. I'm a lot more productive working from home as well than I am in the office.

That’s a tough spot to be in. When something feels off like that, it’s important someone speaks up — even anonymously. Your comfort and the team’s trust matter just as much as the job itself. Hope this gets the attention it deserves.

At a different job I had a customer trying to swindle me in telling me that there was a deal in an item that never had a deal or promotion for sale so he made me scan the item 20 times before believing me.
