Has anyone received equity as contingency comp? I have a potential client with a founders dispute. He doesn’t have cash, and the other founder ripped him off and is now running the company. He wants to sue for equity and wants to pay me with whatever equity he wins. I’ve never done a deal like that. Is that even enforceable? CA law. The startup is actually quite promising.

I am working in corporate banking since last 6 years in credit analyst role. I have done MBA Finance (tier 1 college) and B.Tech (IT). I have also worked for 2 years as a Software Developer before Pursuing MBA. Now I want to switch to IT company where my banking domain and finance skills can be used. Any leads or can someone guide how do I go ahead?

In the beginning of my career I absconded 1 company who had 3 years bond and I worked there for 5 months. My pf account is created for that company and it has been closed with reason cessation (short service). After that I worked in 1 company for 6 years and since January I'm working in TCS. Should I mention my first company experience. So far I'm not mentioning it anywhere.
