Maybe PR. But no def not advertising.
Probably the chillest (don’t work there) but all the decent shops, and agencies in general, are illogically fast paced due to the state of the business.
I have always heard that.
Came out to LA 10 years ago after working in Chicago and East Coast. I have worked just as hard if not harder.
Part of that is the industry. The other part is just me having ADHD. A blessing and a curse.
Yes! As a creative who has worked in both coasts, NYC creative and energy is my fave! LA is way too chill for me!
Worked I'm ad and PR on both costs. It's true. Midwest is way more laid back too.
Worked both coasts and so far overall it seems to be true.
Based on what I see in the award show lists, I’d assume NY agencies chase awards more than LA. So that’d definitely make NY more intense.
Am I wrong? I’m just speculating here.
EVERYONE chases awards. Apart from business metrics it is the only way to validate your agencies work. An award winning agency is far more desirable than an agency that isn’t.
Worked in LA and NY. The rumours are true.
