With my work. Said that I had more awards than him. And didn't know about that. It wasn't him that hired me was the ecd and cco. Anyways he was my superior and never cared to look at my stuff and I assumed something. He was a nice guy. But sometimes I think that he assumed that I wasn't that senior because I am not american.

This happened to me too. I cut and pasted existing copy. My portfolio is full of conceptual work and tv and radio spots. I kept asking him if I could do some brand work. I told him it’s all in my book. I’d email him my book. The cycle continued until I was let go.

Same thing is happening with me. I’ve got my eyes open for anything else that comes along. Seems like the problem is the CD

I’m in this business to cure my inferiority complex. Making lots of money, working with fortune 500 clients and walking the streets of NYC with a suit, tie and briefcase makes me feel important and worthy.

I often wish I could be like my law school friends who either moved to small towns or have public sector or non profit jobs, wear sweaters and jeans to work and make far less than me, but are happy with their lives, feel a sense of meaning with their work and don’t need external validation.
