That’s a good income! I’m jealous, our house prices in Canada are even worse 🫣 (look up Toronto or Vancouver!).
Sadly I’m living with family and saving rn so I can afford to do it on my own. Isn’t modern day living great? 🤪
But in all seriousness - you’ll have to look at what you want to trade off: proximity to downtown, location/community, short commutes, house size/type or find other ways to increase income.

I purchased when I only needed one bedroom and one bathroom and built up equity. I also have purchased places that had good “bones” (location, layout, number of rooms needed) and made updates to the decor which sometimes took time.
