This is my first post here. But mostly my experiences are to be working in the film industry or the fashion. Both of them are pretty brutal but I enjoy working in them. In contrary, I feel like my interests are to make something interesting as a filmmaker than a motion designer/ Post production. i have an offer of X amount from jp morgan and x+ 3.5L from Mphasis, my joining is within a week, I asked counter offer from HR, she said we will look if there is any backup candidate to fill that position then we will not do counter and it will impact my DOJ also since offer approval process takes around 2 weeks. should i wait or should i join on my current doj. and also if i will wait will they give me another doj on my current compenstion or they will revoke the offer past doj?

I am a personal injury defense attorney and I’ve never done plaintiff’s work. I have a case where I suspect the plaintiff is malingering and exaggerating his injuries.
