That's not even possible. If everyone in our office turned up at the same time, half of them would be sitting on the floor.
When i was at DDB they had like 3-4 companies in one floor. Is that still the case?
Good thing i’m maxing out at 3 hours in office a day
Amazon announced today that they will require 5 days a week starting in January. Other companies will soon follow. They know that they will lose some employees, so they see this as a better option than laying more people off. This is clearly a tactic to reduce headcount.
So almost none of those things have to do with being in office. A lot of it is to do with global economics
Yup 5 days RTO after the layoffs.

They must think you're really culturally deprived
I’m an Omnicom employee who was designated remote when I was hired. Just learned that they will be letting me go at the end of the year if I don’t move to my agency’s office. So, I wouldn’t be surprised if they crack down hard on remaining workers. If anyone in Chicago is in search of an Art Director, let me know lol.
Yeah this is shocking to me - they didn’t give you the option to work from the Omnicom hub office in Chicago??
I remember when my former boss announced mandatory RTO, and then didn’t come to the office himself, while scolding all of us.
Amazons RTO is driven in part by the unions I’m sure. You can’t WFH hybrid when you’re a package packer in a warehouse. It’s easier to have one policy for all employees compared to corporate vs labor
