This new social media trend of tech employees quitting their jobs to pursue influencing comes off a bit harmful to me. These people spent years working with a high salary, probably getting so far ahead in retirement and investing and are giving this advice to the public that likely does not have the same foundation. Anyone else think this trend is a bit out of touch with reality?

I started a new job recently and then had my PTSD seriously triggered, plus a panic attack.
