This week marks my two year anniversary of me being laid off. At first, I took the job market for granted because I never had issues before even during the height of the lockdowns. I was burnt out, so I took my first 4 months off, not looking. I regret that decision. I had a job interview today—my last interview was months ago—and I completely bombed it. I was well prepared. I prepared for at least 5 hours before. I choked during the interview. I couldn’t organize and articulate my words.

I have an offer to do some consulting for a company based out of the UK (I am in the US). The job would not go through a consulting company but would be directly with the company.
