Those of you who have moved on from big firms to regional, are you happy with your decision or do you miss working for a big firm? I made the move 3 years ago and seem to always miss my old firm but on the flip side feel like I’ve forgotten how much more intense/hard it was there. The work was most certainly more fulfilling there too. Trying learn how to make peace with my decision to be at a regional firm rather than go back. Any advice would be appreciated!

Sounds like you need a hobby and to understand what happens a when a person is indoctrinated into a system. It’s neat once you understand some of the side effects, you then better understand why child soldiers are a thing.

Then maybe a therapist, just to get another perspective

Hello fishes,

Can anyone reffer me for SOC Analyst?

I have an offer from E&Y.

Completed all the interviews and had positive feedback but before the offer I spoke with the recruiter (third party) and asked them if I can get to a certain compensation number as I might have couple other offers around that number but they got back saying the firm has decided to move on as they cannot match it. What can I do now? Still interested in the role.
