Have to worry about yourself, can’t worry about others, they’ll get by
Always take of number one. Just leave professionally and don't destroy the bridge as you cross over to another side. True friends - colleagues will support and understand. All the best.

When they need to downsize, they will not think twice.
They will find other resources! Please do what's best for you and don't think twice.
Your personal interest are 100% number 1 priority. Don't ever think otherwise. The firm never thinks of you like that and u should take whatever u can out of them while it aligns with what you want and never think about their needs if it doesn't align with yours. They will never think twice about doing what's in their best interest regardless of what one individual may need. It's only fair to do the same. Of course if you can leave on good terms it's always good to keep good connections but never should that change a decision that's in your best interest to do otherwise.
