I don't have medical accommodations, but I do have to leave early every now and then to pick up my kids when I get called by the school nurse. I used to feel judged for it; now I've started to realize most people don't care. More importantly, you shouldn't feel guilty for needing accommodations. I'm a single dad and made that very clear when I was interviewing, as I'm guessing you did with your need for medical accommodations. As long as you're getting your work done, you've got nothing to feel badly about. You're not letting anyone down, you're simply doing what you need to to balance work and life.

Thank you! I just feel so emotional and stressed like I haven’t been “pulling my weight” but I’ve been literally struggling to even look at my phone screen let alone a computer screen all day:(
I used to feel guilty for a lot of things, most of which were out of my control. I had to tell myself that people aren’t really worried about me, and if they are, it says more about them than me.
The best way to look at it! I can’t carry someone else's concerns when they aren’t even able to tell me about them.

Not at all. I earned the right to take the time . I take it guilt free

I used to feel guilty leaving early, but now I don’t. As long as I finish the work and it’s sent in a timely manner, then it should be fine. People at my company leave early all the time as well.
