Thoughts on working for a series A biotech in today's environment?

Has anyone found groups in FDD that have better hours than others? If so, what group, how did you do it, and how do you stay? I’ve heard that there are groups that do IPOs in FDD that work less, although I’ve never seen an IPO group.

Hi! I am currently an Early Childhood Teacher, but I am interested in becoming an Early Childhood Education instructor at a technical high school. It will be a big jump from teaching K to teaching high school students but I am really excited about the possibility of working with the next generation of teachers. Getting paid 85k base with 40k in bonus plus about 35k~ in OT.

Money isn’t everything but in my late 20s it feels like the only thing important right now.

WLB is next to zero as 60hr weeks are the minimum as of late. Management feels like they are trying to push a few of us out. Was told not to expect much come year end for comp. Any suggestions on finding a new role/pay expectations?

Pretty sure it's a discovery role too.

I just finished my PhD at a very good uni with 3 years technician experience before that. BSc and MSc also at very good unis with good grades.

I think this offer is well below par, but curious to hear what you guys think/if you have any comparisons?
