Hi! I am currently an Early Childhood Teacher, but I am interested in becoming an Early Childhood Education instructor at a technical high school. It will be a big jump from teaching K to teaching high school students but I am really excited about the possibility of working with the next generation of teachers. What are the best things about CTE? What challenges can I expect?

The best things include: the ability to give scholars the opportunity to jump start their career, flexibility from the school and policy because it’s usually open to interpretation with CTE, and knowing that your early childhood scholars that you had/would’ve had, now have strong individuals that can continue the work. Biggest challenge expectation is building a quality program that meets the requirements for the funding to run your program.
