I was backend developer in previous company in finacle for 2 yearsy. Now I have switched to new company in teh migration project. Here tech stack is azure, big data, pyspark etc which I think it will take some time for me to learn and grow.
Should I go with big data or should I just drop this and try to find another job in development?

I’ve been at a boutique supply chain consulting firm for a little over a year and have primarily been working in the software/implementations space. I’m interested in more of the strategic side of supply chain with exposure to clients in retail, CPG, and technology. Any advice and/or specific firms I should look into?

I am stuck in IR purgatory. I hate IR. I started off my career ten years ago as a deal guy. Then my firm asked me to shoulder IR responsibilities as well. Now I am finding each job I change to promise “you will do both IR and deals” but it’s always a lie. The firms just want a fundraiser. Deal people are more plentiful. How do I get out of this trap?

Have recently started learning Azure DE through videos (purchased Udemy course - Amit Navgire). But unable to understand much. Even if I am able to understand, just forget it the very next day (like steps to create linked service to storage or Data Lake account, etc..)
What should I do to understand it in much better way ?

I joined Mindtree on 8th Feb and not got project and I was waiting for last 2 and half month. So, i gave interview outside (tech mahindra) and got selected. Almost 30-35% they said they will give and i am negotiating on it.

My main concern was shift and i have some health issues and unable to continue in night shift in Mindtree and tech mahindra its purely EMEA shift and per project team update.

Do recruiters and Hiring Managers actually review and read resumes? Also tech companies that sell SaaS, what is it with the requirements of having 10 years or more if technical sales experience? Also the ramp up period is not realistic. Average sales cycle for a reputable SaaS provider is 12-24 months. How on earth a start up can state that their ramp up period is 90 days? The company hasn’t had any new sales either. Start up CEO’s… be realistic or seek enough funding to operate.

I am confused with two offers,
One is from Kpmg global with 16 fixed and 1 lakh joining bonus (there will be sure shot deduction of 16k each month for Pf as this is how they have fixed component structure. Total ctc - 16
Second is hexaware with 16.15 fixed and total ctc is 18.
Skill dot net and azure with 4 yoe

I was offered a role at a firm, but they put in on hold with no info on the date. There was no joining letter given, just verbal confirmation.
In the mean time, i got another offer and they wanted immediate joining. The HR was not willing to negotiate the date at all, so i onboarded. It has been 2 weeks.
The 1st firm has now confirmed the role & it's much better pay and role wise.
Is leaving it justified with what good reason can be given to move ?
